As far as im aware k-tec obtain theres from the same place as bb. But prior to all my current issues with them id still go with bb,s ecu without question because it did make a huge difference and bring a massive smile to my face.

depends wheather u want it for speed or looks? If its both then id say smaller wheels, lower it 40mm at least, carbon fibre bonnet, with spliter as well, nice exhaust- custom would look and sound much better in my opinion.

This is true- my old 1.2 in the two years i had it i did a clutch,blow up the cat, had a new downpipe and cracked the gearbox casing! The term "drive it like you stole it" sticks so well ;)

Dont bother messing around with the gearing because its sounds too much work for little results. Ive got mk1 172 15s on mine and with a f*cked up cams package lol the 0-60 is just under 6secs. If ur talking much quicker than that then id say it was impossible. Ive heard of cups getting better...
