Sorry, what I meant is that previously if you had other iOS devices the iPhone experience was even better, but these days the iPhone is as capable just standing alone. It runs nicely with OneDrive etc so accessing files across multiple devices is fine, even if they’re windows.

iPhone’s have moved miles past needing a computer. There is no ‘ecosystem’ any more. I own a MacBook, my iPhone hasn’t been anywhere near it for two generations at least. Even the way you now change from one phone to another.. literally turn the new phone on near the old one and off it goes.

Alternate idea… phone up another dealership (record it), and state you have the very same car but just out of warranty (ages wise(. State the problem, and see if they suggest replacing the battery. If they do, use that against your own dealer/ford U.K.

You definitely can use these wires, I once owned a mk2ph1 with a retrospective electric window install, I managed to install sport door cards and standard switches, but this was about 10 years ago so I’m afraid that’s about all I remember.
