my mate runs 6k HID's and they are crisp :) also if your looking for rear lights get yourself down a breakers yeard. payed £10 for two rear lights. smoked them myself and compared them to my original non smoked lights. smoked looked so tidy! fitted them and sold my standard headlights for £30 on...
hi.
my rear wiper will not budge, its like its corroded onto the motor. ive tried wd40, gt85 and countless other degreasers and luber's.. has anyone got any suggestions before i take a hacksaw to it?!
cheers
as the other guys said, make sure you have projector headlamps (reflectors just look horrible with HId's - not to mention blinding for other drivers). make sure you level them properly and have your beam adjust down so that you dont piss off everyone else. maybe go for something like 6k HID's. a...
to be honest no matter what colour you do the brake drums they will stand out - IMO i wouldve left them as they were, i havent tuched mine, people rare to busy staring at my shiny refurbed alloys to even pay attention to what brakes are behind the wheels :)
Anyone recommended a decent interior re upholster for my clio, my carpet is torn and ripped in so many places. Or is it an easy job to do myself? I live near dartford in the south east.
Thank you
Make sure you grounded your earth on a metal surface (file down for good connection). Also make sure your remote is connected to your head unit and amp.
Halfords. Don't hate for me suggesting them. Laser blue ultra brilliance h7 477's. got them for my angel eye projected. Lines up next to my mates with hid's, you can not tell the difference. You will not be disappointed. Best £25 I spent. No regrets
I never recommend halfords but I bought laser blue 120% ultra brilliant h7 477 bulbs from them for my projectors angel eyes. Best £30 spent. Lined up next to my mates corsa and punto both with hid kits - you can not tell the difference. £25 the pair. No regrets. "Halfrauds" came up trumps for once
10 minutes to dartford from belvedere :) so Thurrock aint that far for me :) my car would not keep up but would be nice to meet you clio lads local to me
The front badges has two torx bolts holding them into the front bumper and for the rear you need to disable and remove boot lock mechanism. Yeah mate - s**t loads of laquer!!!
When I fitted mine I had to remove the dash in order to get to the clock where one of my leads had to plug into, located under the clock, which is secured in by the dashboard-hence why the dash was necessary to remove :)
Hi I'm a new member and would be good to get to know a few people local to me as I live in belvedere so ill probably show my face. I drive a 1.2 silver mk2 clio
Thumbs up to the hid kit! 6k looks nice. But if you have a crisp white 6k hid set up then why the hell would you want yellow fog lights? Damn that's one of my pet hates. But I like how it looks so far :)
As promised pictures of my interior sticker bombing and induction kit.
Heres the centre console sticker bombed,
heres the left hand trim
the smaller right hand trim
heres the induction kit,
the cold air feed hose
also here's a picture of my engine bay. Please can anyone give me...
Yeah I wasn't too keen on getting tints done myself, but after a bit of research I found a light tint called "smoke" and I love it. Really glad I went for it in the end. Such a light and minimal darkness. It's perfect as it matches the tint of my rear smoked lights and tema heko wind deflectors...
172 alloys really do finish off a non sport clio! my exhaust was also made custom for a clio for the guy i bought mine off of, but my hanger was fine and it went on easy, maybe your hanger is worn/damaged...dont quote me on that.
also i got your pm and have replied :) cheers for the feed back...
really nice bro - love the led conversion on the dash - done my clock blue, borrowing a mates soldering iron so i can do my dash to! where did you get your blue led pack from, any recommendations?
i was down there - it was naughty! i went down with th CCUK boys, wish i took my clio down - wouldve standed out agaisnt all the corsa's i went down with.
there was wheelspins left right and centre! doubt people will get done for it though
