wow!! havent seen one of these for years. an old boss of mine had an RS4 avant years ago, i was lucky enough to pull it into the carpark and no more but i was in love!!
if i remember correctly his didnt have satnav either, most for sale had it fitted. he also had way more than 12 points on his...
I had this with my 52 plate 172 (non cup) and it was the Speedo sensor in the gearbox as said above. Easy enough to replace and didn’t cost too much. Worth a shot first for what it costs.
Very nice car mate, congrats! Lovey spec, love the recaros!!
Your not saying much about your experience at k-Tec, but the fact you bought it from a ‘specialist’ and are taking it to another specialist for a once over is telling enough and not a great advert for them!
I got a cracked wheel repaired the other week by a place in Burntwood staffs, cost £45 and was a perfect job. I take on board about the risks but from what I’ve found out, original wheels are better to deal with for cracks and straightening as they are made stronger.
Depends where you are I...
@kaninchua I’m not sure where you are but might be worth giving these a call. They repair uch/bcm modules and are in rugeley Staffordshire. I’m sure people on here have used them in the past. (I’m not anything to do with them)
