could be the switch mate. it sounds something common to both cos i dont think both will have blown! usually the circuit will be batt pos to fuse to switch (via other lights) ie need to be on ...then to your fogs. your other lights ok?

if your not arsed about power and want an induction roar lol..........take the airbox off and put tights over the hole :p

u just going to fibreglass it? id put the plate in the middle right at the bottom, then look for a motorbike lamp holder or a trailer one. will be easy to do
