Even if you could afford the car and insurance, I wouldnt, i had a 1.2 @ 17/18 and that was fast enough and got a battering. If you got a 182 at 18 youd probably kill yourself or someone else. stick with the 1.2 mate

Willy lump with cams, pulleys, a chip, headwork and a bit chopped off the flywheel would FLY, then strip it a little and youd be killing CTRs no doubt with power more useable. The only drawback is that all of that will cost a lot, Willy conversion = 1500 + all of that work 2000 = 3500 ish, but...

If you swap the metal plates from underneath the rear bench for the ones on the clio seats then the backs will go straight in, as will the fronts

Traction is the worst bit about the GTT, but if you have 16v body you could squeeze some 215s on a pair of 16s and get most of the power down
