Car looks smashing Matt, I'm unsure as to why you used the sponge too. No idea if it was leather safe etc!!! I bought that gold class stuff and took it straight back, was far too slippery for me. Bought gliptone cleaner and conditioner instead and was seriously impressed.

It's generally the female side within the block on the car's end Steve. Pull the clip on the plug remove them all individually and give them a quick once over with wire wool. Quick go over of the cluster with a cotton bud or similar to dry it out and it'll be sorted.

It looks clean, I'll give you that. Threads like this are MUCH more interesting with progress pictures/befores and afters though.
