    Project: BMW E21.

I'd take it for 2k and a yorkie. Shame you did the lacquer though you spaz, you could have done a single coat of metallic to finish, then lacquered, so it would have only cost like 8£!!!

That wheel colour looks a little flat Edward? Not fancy metallic? What was the result on the MS?

Paint peeling - Renault won't sort it....

Just rub it in why don't you Matt :rasp: Gorms, I really hope you sort this, you seem like you're not willing to take any s**t, so I think you will. You've just got to be firm on it. I don't see you being too far off just plain old requesting another car now/rejecting yours ffs.

My new car, 80's bmw content!

Oh funzies. I'd do it myself too, if there's a decent guide, just be slow and methodical and you'll probably do a better job than someone who is trying to bash it out.

Is it a chain driven lump with just aux and AC belt? If so, do it yourself, take 20 minutes.

    What's this ...

ECU bracket. Very common to break, doesn't matter no, but may rattle.

Result! I really am very jealous, but the more I think about it, the more this could be an interesting choice for myself.. I have a garage, I could run it as a second.... interesting.. I'd have to go cab like Budge though.

Real World Weight Difference: 182 FF Vs 172 Cup

Honestly mate, just put it back on. It's very light, and just from a risk point of view it's REALLY not worth it.

Yes, but no doubt you have harnesses? Fuel rail guard, on track, where having a front end impact is quite likely, would be something I'd keep for the sake of leaving a bottle of water at home.

LOL @ removing the fuel rail guard. The clue is in the name ffs.

    My TT QS

Re: My new car. TTQS Good stuff, it really is a nice car. Don't bother with the splitter though, it adds nothing.

What the hell is this? On swapz

What really concerns me, is that you'll mock this chap, but you're sitting looking on "swapz" which may basically be re-named chancers and idiots central.

Yes, yes yes yes yes yes yes. Totally frikken awesome, in every way. Doesn't really fulfil a lot of your criteria, but it's still awesome. Glad you gave it a proper check over, hopefully between Budgie and I we gave you enough to go on. Yes.

It really is lovely. From what I've heard I'd avoid the manifold option. Apparently the low down losses negate the night end power. Almost vtec esque... Cracking looking motor though mate, seriously. I was out in an auto this weekend and was VERY impressed with the power etc!

So you might not be able to work for 3 years? Holy cow. I thought there'd be a process in place for families of working professionals that got bought over with.. Be very interesting to see what it's making as you say.

The "Ive taken a pic and I kinda like it" thread

I actually need to buy a tripod. Stole Reolvs' for a few pics last night and managed to place the camera on a wall for a few, but I only got three I liked in London (and even these I'm not exactly well happy with). Eye 1 by Rob Strode, on Flickr BigOlBen by Rob Strode, on Flickr...
