Why didn't he stop to see if the guy was ok? Prick! The guy in the porsche could have hit some oil, anyone ever done that at the ring? I have and it's not nice especially there, one of the quickest and potentially dangerous corners there. Unlucky porsche, at least he looked a million times...

If you want to keep them clean you need a really good refurb or the defects just come back like mine have. I paid £45 per wheel for a full strip down and powdercoat, and bubbles have appeared already after only a year. I've not even caught the wheels so there's no open cracks. But saying that...

Let them rub the arches away then they won't rub anymore. No point raising them up it's a pain in the arse. Just cut the bumper mount off and you'll be fine. Mine is set low and it doesn't rub at all anymore.
