    V8 Baby!!! (Hi, Ginge)

So you genuinely prefer this over the sport? I'm a little naive on the issue, I just know to look at (without knowing the ins and outs) I prefer the sport. What's the differences? Apart from the length obviously. As for the pictures, the angles just really suck for showing off the car, I bet...

    V8 Baby!!! (Hi, Ginge)

Not a fan, sorry. The vogue just looks to big compared to the sport. Or it could just be your horrendous photo angles.

    Rear discs

This is what you need: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RENAULT-CLIO-2-0-16v-SPORT-172-182-GENUINE-REAR-BRAKE-DISCS-AND-PADS-SET-/281077355493?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item41718413e5 Bargainous. All the same I believe, with the exception of the cup not having an ABS ring.

    E85 3.0 Z4 Roadster Project

Thanks for all the positive comments ya'll, appreciated. It doesn't scrub up bad for what is now an "old" motor really.. Anyway, "project headlights" is now under way. I bought the lights, 5 minutes after purchase I've already set up a swap with a black car owner with silver insert xenons. So...

    My New Steed: Trophy #321

I canny believe you're going to buy an FRP. Are you batshit? You spent so much time/money on yours, then basically said it was s**t for day to day, then you bought a TT that was great for day to day, but you didn't use it a lot (so clearly day to day doesn't matter for f**k). Then you bought...

    First Accident, advice?

Erm, who are you insured with? Mickey Mouse & Co? "Don't do the leg work" - Biggest load of s**t I've ever heard. Insurers have access to more information than you do and it's in their interest to find out.

    Loud droaning sound?

I'll be heading over to Laindon on Saturday, I'd be more than happy to check it over for nothing for you? Quick test drive and jack up the rear should diagnose it no problems. There are people on eBay selling genuine rear discs cheap, let me see if I can find a link.

    Loud droaning sound?

Buying a bearing is a massive false economy. Considering you can get discs and pads delivered for about £100, buying 20 odd quid worth of bearing, then having to pay a garage to press out and then press back in is going to work out the same pretty much, if not more.
  24. Rob

    Loud droaning sound?

I'll get those fitted for you no bother for a lot cheaper than a garage. Contact G172 on here, he's a brake dealer on here. You want rear discs with ABS rings and bearing pressed in. Sorted

Washing in an underground carpark. When Living in a block of flats.....

You can't have both, it's that simple. Life's too important to genuinely worry about how you're going to wash your car. Let the albanians wash it for 3 years and then move on. It'll look clean, you'll move into the flat that's going to gain money  and move out rich.

    E85 3.0 Z4 Roadster Project

Primary reason is that one of my lights had condensation it in, I've fixed it, but it's left some water marks inside the lense you cannot get rid of without cutting the light up. That's what I though, the only photo I've found isn't great, so maybe they'll look decent. If not I can offer a...

    E85 3.0 Z4 Roadster Project

Facelift ones have clear indicators, and either black or silver inners. I do agree with you and that's my concern, I'm thinking possibly buy them, fit them, and if I don't like them, offer a straight swap with an owner with a darker car. All the boys with black/grey cars love the black...

    E85 3.0 Z4 Roadster Project

At the moment, I'm a big fan. It's fast enough for road use, handles well, is quite playful if you turn the traction off. There's not a lot not to like. The sport button has more affect than one has ever had in any car I've regularly driven, trottle response is seriously sharp and steering...

    E85 3.0 Z4 Roadster Project

They do not look the same! They're a good price, and it's not the silver ones that never come up, it's xenon's in general never come up for a reasonable price. The zed has all the bits and bobs to just work automatically, so they're literally plug and play too... I think I prefer silver...
