mines was throttle posistioning sensor, but apparently keeping the little metal cover that chews through the wires at the back of engine in your door card solves it lol

tried that last night but the mechanism is weird, you push it in to relase the catch and the button itself pops OUT, it was the little catch that clicks broke on mine so it was constantly in the OUT/ ON position
failed on
1. inner rear registration plate lamp not working £1 for a new bulb ;)
2. inner front hazard warning switch faulty £29.45 for new switch
3 offside front suspension joint has excessive play in lower suspension ball joint. £13.83 for bush i think
