as said before, you cas gain enough negative camber without the bolts but you will need the instruments to get it right. once done mark them and they'll always go back the same way. that's what i've done and they've been off the car a few times since and it's fine.
My thoughts exactly, I've tried all. The contis are great for about 3-4000 miles in the middle of their life then they go crap, then get ok near the illegal limit which is weird! The f1's have too much movement at the rear for me, especially when heavy braking.
The pe2's have been great...
H&R's for 172's do have elongated holes. There's no need for camber bolts. I was able to get enough negative camber without it being stupid on the road.
btw, if the standard setting out of the box is the same on all kits then you'll have to raise them soon. Mine hit the floor once bedded in...
How can they restrict a uk registered car that doesn't need TüV testing? Surely, in theory for the car to be banned it would need to be registered in the country that TüV testing applies? i.e. a German car.
Scaremongering all the understeering subaru drivers away with any luck
early 9's is good imo. it's not really worth bragging about it in a clio unless it's fully track ready and you can drive jon_r, you might aswell wait until you're in a better car when things get more serious. especially when the locals pass you in old polo's (the really old ones) and make it...
This is one of the best threads I've seen in here in years. Top effort Ben, can't wait to see the finished project.
Round of applause and a king size mars bar for you...:D
I'm on virgin and ever since they became virgin media THEY ARE AWFUL!! Customer service is shocking and my so called 2 mb is running at about fcuk all all of the time. As soon as I can I'm out. Might get the cheapo sky package when we get sky+.
If anyone at virgin are listening...take...
i'd get them if you have the money spare otherwise it's a bit of a waste imo.
personally i would find a way of getting them myself as they improve the ride a lot.
Yes Paul, still going well if not better everyday tbh. Seems to perform better after a good thrashing at the ring...hmmm.
Mark, I've moved down near to where I work so it does minimal per day now. And if I bike in then just sits there getting dusty. A well earnt rest.
As she's 98,000 old now and I've had a new bonnet and the bumper resprayed gratis :D
Wheels came off and gave the arches a good old scrub after nearly 6 years! Gave the wheels a clean up too both sides too, shame they're bubbled to fcuk.
Anyway...camera phone pics sadly, it's all I have:
