I want to have a go at sorting my alloys out. Can't afford a proper job and need the car for work so can't be without it and as I have no other wheels I thought I'd have a go at it myself. At least I can learn something else if anything.
So, it would be good for anyone that has done this...
Anyone else use one of these? JUst curious as to why every now and then it just drops out for no reason. The wireless just goes but all the relevant lights are on and the wired in PC works fine.
I know the apple wireless cards aren't the best but what?
It's a pain having to go downstairs...
ooh, must search the memory now lol.
might mis a few bits out but:
1 clutch
6/7 sets of front discs & pads
2 sets rear discs & pads
iirc 12 or so oil changes in 5 years
about 8 sets of headlight bulbs
3 sets of contis
1 set of eagle F1's
3 sets of PE2's
1 cambelt
1 water pump
2 accessory belts...
Yes gave reg and stated no air con.
I'm so glad I know my mate, and that he knows renault inside out. I thought a minor was only oil and oil filter. My mate does an oil change with the oil for 25 quid and he'll get under that car to check everything, make me a tea and make me feel warm inside...
mint, ignore b unit leave the side repeaters. i'm going back to standard aswell, lol.
nice to see you've refurbed the wheels in the standard colour, i wish i could afford to do mine.
nice example that
As an experiment I called renault watford and slough for a price to service my cup at 109,000 miles. minor service aswell.
watford - 174.00
slough - 274.13
FPMSL. i never go to dealers as i've got a mate in the know, it was just curiosity.
yah the hook is there mate. i know it's probably not the best place for a harness fixing but i had no other way. and tbh that's not the most important fixing (*awaits slating*).
one day when i get round to it i have loads to sort on the car. i still have the original belts in, lol.
lol sorry, not too clear am i!
the first pic is from above the handbrake between both seats. the subframes have a mounting point which is handy.
in the second pic, its looking from the footwell under the seat. directly under the seat there is a black hook like found in the boot so just used...
what steve said mate, or you get fixing points to the seat subframes like mine, the other one is to the hook that's under the seat as we didn't drill through the car.
not sure how clear these will make it?
Just scoping out atm. Anyone know of any good places in and around these areas?
Failing further afield would be ok if I could get a spare set of wheels as I need the car in the week for work.
