ive got a bmc on my car but no cold air feed. where do ppl run theirs from?is it just a case of getting a feed and putting it down the front right had side near battery but lower? and will i be losing any power because of it?i would have thought so? also any pics would be good! :D

mike i did remove the dash to have a look at x overs. i was thinking it had something to do with the phonos (didnt fancy playing with its insides tho its an expensive amp!) lol

u sure? my discs are 310mm and i have got 17s on and the caliper is very close to the wheel! cant imagine ap racing calipers to be much smaller than my standard ones?

a tweeter is the little tiny speakers what are very high pitch mate. usually sit on top of the dash! componemnts are a combination of high pitch (tweeter) and a bit of mid range and bass (door speaker) the x over is run off an amp usually and supplys the tweeter and door speaker

that red clio is bk home near me. maybe worth a butchers!;)

component speakers mate, ran off a x over. 1x tweeter and 1 door speaker them 6x9 are not worse than your standard speakers. u could run them off your head unit and they would still be ok!

u want a set of comps in front mate, some decent rear door speakers and sub, u dont need 6x9 mate TBH

i had a pioneer stereo with pioneer door speakers, jbl amp,jbl sub in a box, and jbl 6x9 and it sounded awesome! a lot better than several of my mates cars who had spent more on "better " manufacturers equipment. I could vouch

lol i no it was m8. was the x over repaired? because, the front speakers kept going on and off randomly over bumps. could this have fooked the amp again?cheers mike
