I loved my gti, wish i could get another decent one. Mine had induction kit, 4 branch and 2" pugsport, it sounded like a machaine gun on the overun, pop pop, bang, flames lol

Soot1e yeah it mainly creaks when slow speed turning, parking up ect, but it also does it when i am braking. Elfy so maybe i need to change a ball joint? Thanks for the help people

Right my car is doing my head in now, its still creaking. I took the near side strut off again yesterday. There is alot of play in the rubber bush on top of the strut, i would think it shouldnt move t all, as play there would cause a creak/ noise. Stripped the strut down and cant see anything...

Looks a nice car mate, i like rb, thinking about trying get the mrs a ff rb if there are any decent ones about

I think i should of brought a jdm then, i must admit once i put a set of toyo t1r's on my old civic it drove a lot better, the engine and box in them are lovley and i loved the interior. I think they look smart as well, was just like i say i couldnt get on with the power steering. It felt so...

That looks mint, the jdm has ep3 has hydraluic power steering doesnt it? I had a premier edition CTR and hated it because of the electric power steering.

Have you got a for sale advert for the 106?

Looks good mate i like your type r, i had a premier CTR engine/ gearbox was mint and i like how they look but the power steering ruined it for me, sold it with in 6 months was so diasapointed init.

Thanks Fred. Built it back up today and gone for a spin its still creaking a little bit but no where near as bad as it was before. Mainly when slow turning parking ect and braking. Any ideas anyone

Is there a torque setting for any of the bolts? Thanks
