    Its just not fast anymore...

    i always feel this about my 172.but as said before, when u drive other cars, or even as a passenger u can tell yours is actually fast, just u are used to it! i was in my mates focus st170 last week n it was slow in comparison. once u have had a taster for speed, u cant get enough!!!

    3 points usually doesnt effect your premium.its when u get 6 or more it cripples u!!! ive got an sp30 and cu30. 45 in a 30 and bald tyre.both nearly 4yrs old now.had stupid insurance quotes for the last 4 years!:(

    u can pick mk1s up sooo cheap now.i was in the same boat when i got mine.i could have had a 52/53 plate mk2 for the price i paid for mine but chose the mk1.u dont see as many of them around and they are lighter/quicker;).but then again,they are getting old now and look a bit "dated" in...
