Yeah they just need a good polish. The lip is not actually chrome just highly polished metal.

^^agreed lol They both have the same horsepower (120 bhp) but the GTT weighs f**k all! 8v engines also have more torque usually.

I had a starting problem with my Ph 3 and the cable connecting the starter motor was loose and just fell off one day! Check the spark plugs, leads and dizzy cap for wear. That might be causing the stalling, it happened to me a couple of times.

I got an FK highsport kit (albeit Mk1) last week from 2modified.com I ordered mine in december! Apparently the FK kits are available again. As for the struts, you need to know what the hub hole spacing is (52mm, 58mm etc). Try ringing John.
