Sounds 100% like the top gearbox mount if you're getting a noise under the battery. That's where that mount is. If the dogbone is powerflex'd, that'll be fine.

How did you make sure it was the same one? Some seem to have flat mounting points, others have little mounting blocks on the end.

My local factors sell decent upper engine mounts, iirc, (you'll have to do a lot of searching under my username) but you can get the one for a kangoo and it's the same but much cheaper. My local factors is SC motorfactors, I imagine euro's, GSF, all of them will do the mounts. Just seen that...

iirc it's down the front of the block, so open the bonnet, at the front, look straight down. It's a fairly distinctive shape.
