Taken up to The Lakes these last few 48hours. Couple of hundred more miles on the clock (circa 500 in now) and an absolute breeze in wet/hail that we had on the way back today. Thing looks a mess with all the dirt and salt on the roads but a decent jet down has got rid of most of it.
Few...
Presume as its a dealer that Terry has bought it from that you can also claim on their warranty if any work does need doing. As I am having to do with a broken rear spring, found by BMW's winter health check (best £20 I've spent @Cookie).
This isn't actually true anymore. Karcher woke up to the issue about 18months ago and have apparently fitted a "better quality plastic" part. Since then there have been far fewer failures.
Having said that, damage done so I'd still go for a Nilfisk.
I ran out of time, Dan. The fecking thing comes in 50 parts with "Engrish" instructions that are utterly useless. You know I'll be rearranging them today ;)
Loving it chap. Few minor things to sort to get it how I want.
Detailed with some 2500 menz, the DA and hex to start then got bored so whipped out the rotary and 3M yellow. Finished with Tripple via da on black hex and Reload. Not perfect but fifty times better.
Wheels need to come off as...
Nope!
Insp1 is £5-700 for a oil filter etc change. But the indies check timing and shims so quite a lot of work.
Rear brakes I've been quoted £300 ish, fronts are £700 ish.
I've got a broken rear spring that I'll have to throttle the dealer for in warranty (9 days old), replaced in pairs...
No this has plenty of power for me!
That is chap - I haven't got satnav so not sure the intravee will do mine much good - have Bluetooth although waiting for this to work with ios8!
Given it a one dayer here while I had a spare day. I'll do a brief write up later. Will need a decent...
So as most of you know, after the panzer left me a week or so ago, I picked up a Z4M Roadster. Few quick details;
56 plate
Interlagos blue
54k miles
Cruise
Bluetooth
Black fully electric and heated seats
BiXenon
Completely standard
The initial pick up of the car wasn't quite as happy as I'd...
Cheers buddy. Staying away from suspension but have made a couple of purchases. Oem cup holders, aux retro fit, load of detailing gear and...
Also have Pirelli winters going on tomorrow.
Proof that this kit is not all it's cracked up to be.
Simple fact is you've used to coarse a grade and then not followed it up with the lesser grades/polish. Let me guess, it was roughly 500 grade?
Not at all - the idea is to go one way (vertical or horizontal) with one grade, the opposite with...
IronX 1l
BiltHamber Autoclay
ObliTARate
I1
303 Protectant
Hex pads, white light polishing and black finishing, spot and full sized
Load of MFs
All from CYC - even got a call when the clay wasn't in stock and delivered today. Easy. No issues. As per my other orders. @Cliotoby
So it's goodbye from him...
...and it's not good bye from me. Obviously sticking around (who honestly still owns a Clio on here anyway?!). Z4M purchased yesterday and already bought a whole of stuff to go with it (Winter tyres, minor interior ad ons that only came as standard on top top...
