I've got these in my cup at the moment; http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Performance/Lighting/Bulbs/Ring_Xenon_Max_Performance_Lighting_Bulbs/849/2432
They're very good imo; nice white light and lights the road up very well :)
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
Left the car for it's service and MOT :)
Fingers crossed it only needs a new wheel bearing :o
Thanks! :)
Fancy plates; there's a pretty comprehensive guide on here, in the guides section :)
Cheers! :D
hai!
I've been running my component from an Alpine PDX since I bought them close to a year ago.
Thinking of changing this for something that may a little better; not sure if this may be a question better posted on somewhere like talk audio or a specialised site, but worth a try here first...
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
Thanks for the comments! :)
I've been out again (although it's now raining, so given up) but a new wheel bearing's needed - drivers side rear.
I'll get that sorted tomorrow before the car's MOT'd :)
Doesn't feel like I've had the car a year already :eek...
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
MOT tomorrow; thought I had a little longer, but never mind, therefore it's being MOT'd the day before it runs out :clown:
I'm expecting new rear wheel bearing will be needed, as I'm getting that lovely whine/drone sound when sitting at around the speed limit...
Hai!
Spotted a Monaco ph1 172 parked up on Horsewell lane, Wigston, Leicestershire; would have been about half 4 this afternoon!
Had an old style CS sticker in the rear window
Either way, I need to sort something; if I keep the current light I need to refurb the housings :)
Thanks; I'll keep my eye on the for sale section. I have my MOT next week, so will have to see how things go :dead: lol!
Thanks! :D
I'm planning to have some performance work done soon, but, at the moment, I'm unsure of what to do.
The choices are basically throttle bodies or the JMS intake manifold; I'm just trying to look into each as much as possible and make the best decision :)
I really like the fact that throttle...
I'm not sure what it's lowered by tbh; I got it sitting how I wanted, but didn't really take note as to how much lower it was. At a guess, I'd saw 50mm?
Thanks! :D
haha!! Thanks a lot! :approve:
Cheers mate; I'm just trying to decide on which way to go with it :)
