Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
Cheers mate!
Thanks! It was your car that made me want to give the car this type of look :)
I think in all honesty I'll be going down the JMS intake route.
I'm very impressed by the both the results published so far and the package being offered...
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
I've been out tonight cleaning the tyre soap off of the tyres and giving them a healthy coating of Meguires endurance tyre gel; certainly made a difference! :D
I need to do something with the centre that's visible, with the 2118's obviously having no centre cap to...
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
Forgot to update in here, but photos are posted in the media section of the site; http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=518280 :)
I'll get some 'proper' photos at the weekend hopefully and get a bit of tidying up done!
Cheers! I have a few bits to sort on it, it's gotten a bit ropey as of late!
There's a series of 5 or 6 car park dents in the passenger rear quarter, which I'm assuming have come from work :(
With these wheels having no centre caps I need to have a bit of a tidy up around that area, and...
It's personal preference really; looking at the two wheels next to each other, I much prefer the 2118's over the turini's I have :)
I was happy with how it looked on the silver ones, but got to the point where I was bored with them. I've always loved 2118's and they'll fit better with the other...
First few photos of my silver cup on anthracite 2118's :)
Very happy with how they look and how it feels! The tyres were delivered this morning and the 2118's arrived this afternoon; then it was a mad rush to get the tyres mounted and wheels on the car! :D
Only downside is I cannot get...
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
I've never had a problem with the Toyo's, but they don't inspire the greatest confidence in the wet imo! :)
The Parada spec 2's seem to get pretty good reviews, so thought I'd give them a try; bargain at £160 for four delivered!
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
2118's have not long arrived! First impressions are that they look very good! :D
Hoping to find somewhere that can get the tyres on this afternoon, otherwise I'll have to wait until the weekend.
23rd June has been rumoured on many websites as an over the air update day, but I don't think the original source is particularly reliable! It came from a developer who had been told by someone from htc support apparently, I don't think it's been confirmed by htc, although I've not looked for a...
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
I'd noticed the past few days that the stealth was visible under the rear bumper; the dreaded sagging stealth!! :dapprove:
Had a quick look under the car this morning and the exhaust was completely out of the rubber on rear mount; it was just resting on the bottom...
This tbh! Mine needs charging every evening else it won't make it through the following day lol
Not really an issue though, have a charger at home, in the car, etc.
Might give the uprated battery a try :)
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
Really into ph1's at the moment tbh!
I'm sure I read somewhere on here about someone having problems using the locking wheels nuts from their turinis on 2118's? I cannot find the post now, but I am assuming I will have no problem using the existing bolts...
