The thing about recovery is that it's needed only on the odd occasion. I would never pay for it. Thankfully I get it through my work. If I didn't have it I'd just phone somewhere or phone someone with a diesel barge to tow me home

Could be the timing that's out? Or injectors maybe?

Who did the timing belt?

Better timing improves everything. I've driven 1*2s where the 5k kick felt unnatural ie the car was really poor up until 5k then all of a suddenly it would come alive.

They said it was noisy injectors which I've no reason to doubt. It's not the tappets/lifters and not the dephaser. Either way the main thing is it's nothing to worry about really. The car performs really well, doesn't stutter and idles well so I'm not concerned. May stick some Redex through the...

I've only ever used 2 pads really. Is black not the finishing pad?

As above. I've been using green and black for a few years now but just wandering if I'm better going for a different combo. Really like the pads but if anyone else has some suggestions I'm open to them

Is the inlet sat correctly? If it's not sitting right then there's an air leak somewhere

Problem is your calipers have been milled..so won't work with the 300mm brackets

It doesn't look like you've installed them incorrectly. I really hope spacers aren't required as I bought them on the premise that they would fit without spacers

Have they used an incorrect hub perhaps? If you know which brackets they are it might help..

Yeah I think there's something wrong in the install. 280 should clear the cup turinis without a spacer.

Strange. There's lots of info about the brembos fitting and I've got a set too. Have you had some machining done to the calipers?

Which brackets you using mate? Surely if it's not touching the wheel then it's fine? Even if it is 2mm clearance
