My courtesy car from Renault is an 02 reg Megane Dynamique + fully loaded, alpine 6 disc changer, air con, leccy roof, 1/2 leather etc.

Know what u mean by badging cars. My Fiesta has no other badges other than a 2.0 badge on the back, ok as it is a 2.0. Wouldnt badge it RS though. On an old standard Orion I used to own, me and some mates put a RS badge on the back of it, just for comedy value. Also, Ive seen a 1.2 Clio...

yeah the coolant level being warm is no indication of the oil being ready, coolant warms up really quickly.

I go to 80 degrees on my oil temp gauge before ragging my Williams. Takes bloody ages though. About 20 mins, and stay below 3000rpm before 80 degrees.

I hardly ever see another Williams on the road. Seen a couple in the last year(apart from at meets), and those who know me will know I do some miles. Couple of 16v;s in the area, and have seen another 1, 2 and 3 locally. Hardly ever spot them though,.

its costing about £750ish incl a clutch I think inclusive of all labour. Im paying 1/2 straight away, and 1/2 in a month or so.

Leigh, think it worked out a bit cheaper than a new one, and Im skint as. I do get a full one years warrenty on this box though.

Taking my Williams tonight to have the gearbox rebuilt. Will be gone about a week. Sooooooooo cant wait to get it back without a whining box. Its been broken since October! :o

my Williams has decat and filter, and it pops. Mate was following me on the M25 the other day, and reported I had flames popping out the back a few times. :D

yeah I had my windscreen replaced for excess of £50 on the Williams. Clio V6 threw up a stone and cracked it lol

T. Ferrino, I had a bit of a knocking noise from the front suspension over bumps, and they picked up on it at a routine service. :)
