A few issues - advice please!

Correct. Only issue is, according to garages, this is a 6-7 hour job. Must be fiddly in there

A few issues - advice please!

Clutches are heavy, squeaky, high biting on them. My trophy has a high biting point but doesn't sound as abrupt as yours. Also it won't be £800 changing the clutch. Get a clutch and cable from ecp cheap and then just have someone do the labour on it. In relation to the pulling left. That just...

    Suspension fixed!

So the rear dampers on my trophy went. Car drove like a pig and felt like the rear was detached from the car. Purchased a new set and fitted them today. Massive difference and she's driving even better than before:) Very easy to fit and well worth it (apart from the price of the Sachs dampers!)

Off to look at a 172 Cup tomorrow

That's not cheap mate. You could get a 182 for that money. It will need to be a very good one for that money. Wouldn't necessarily say a new oe exhaust is a good thing. They seem to rot to pieces eventually. I'd be looking at close to 2k for it. Good luck. Main thing is the belts, engine...
