My spot repair on the rear bumper was £125. If you can get a respray for £400, send me a PM/the company name. Perfectly happy to give it a try. Only the company can loose out...
Similar subject, I had to chuckle at Cheshire police's new fleet of panda cars. Having had 5 series tourings, X5s and a few new RangeRovers over the last few years, their new job lot of i30s tickled me!
C2V3 will last longer and I found it was "easier" to apply... but not exactly difficult either of them, eh! Interesting what you've said about looks. I still think C2V3 looks cracking, but red is probably an easier colour to get the best out of with something like this?
Likewise, after seeing...
Rob Scrooge - I mentioned in my PM to AF that the three of us could use it at the Unit on the Toledo, Panzer and Zed. Different colours, you do more driving, different conditions etc. Would make for an interesting initial looks and longevity test.
Claying is the last stage of decontamination, but this is not as well/widely known as it should be. Clay will remove tar and iron, but will drag large particles across your paint, hence the need to follow up with polishing. The inclusion of tar and iron removers minimises this risk of marring...
Yes. It will. But detailing is the art of removing as little clear coat as poss to achieve the desired effect. So by missing out tar and iron decontam stages, you're inflicting marring that could be otherwise avoided.
Interesting. Never had this. Would suggest buying some Dr Beckmann washing machine cleaning fluid - two types, one that cleans deposits of limescale and scum, another than kills bacteria. That should get rid of the smell.
I remember you saying this, but Sonax, C2V3, Carbon and Glasur have not been affected.
You fail, both in life and in tagging me. It never works. Muhahaha.
Neat.
Yep.
Ya.

To be fair, aren't these about £35 from the Stealers? I'd buy a new one if you're that bothered. Then protect it. But not always cost effective or viable in NZ!
