Sorted it!!! pressed the big red button by the battery :) Im guessing thats what ive just done yeah?

Ok so ive replaced the battery, cleaned the crank sensor.. didnt work! So went and got a new one, fitted it and still not working!! Anyone got any ideas? Also is this the correct battery... was recommended in another thread but i dont think its powerful enough...

may be a stupid question but what is the point of flocking? other than just looks better than plastic?

So i went and got one of those Bosch s4 063 batteries after work, fitted it and still not firing up, cranking sounds a whole lot better but still not catching, wont even bump start and wont even start when being jumped Weird thing is, ECP lists the 065 as the correct battery but following this...

Good idea! possibly worth getting enough info and wrtting a "guide" or something for a sticky so the info is easy for all. I know the search function is there but i totally agree on finding so many threads with info all over the place... gets very frustrating

So had this a couple of times in the last week, normally in the morning or if it gets too cold in the afternoon The car turns over but doesnt want to catch and actually start, first couple of times it happened a quick bump/stall then try again and it would start normally. This morning though...

It really did come up well, that was just after the first pass with the rotary and 3M Fast Cut Plus. Did 2 passes then polished with just some AG SRP, will re-polish and then seal this weekend with something decent i think.

stupid question.................will this fit a Ph1 172? the link above (and all others on their ebay page) only lists it as a Ph2 item

Re: ph1 turbo project Nice looking Ph1 now its on 172 alloys, looks like it needs some spacers though. Change over to the 172cup front end, might as well if its in good condition and you have it all.

Yep instantly took about 10 years off the look of it, strangly made it look wider :S i'll probably get a 6k HID kit at some point, not exactly expensive anymore but a few more priority things to be done first i think, noticed my NSF tyre is practicly bald so that needs doing and just purchaed...

Had a quick look today Mark but tbh i soon lost interest when the bolts just under the grill wouldnt budge because my hands were freezing! May take a look tomorrow with the ratchet spaners/torx bits. It does just seem that they need to be loosened off and re-postioned though.
