Well to me the trophy is not how the car looks, its about what was done to the suspension and how it drives.
As far as i see it, its like buying a Cup because you like colour then going and butting a FF interior and extras on it. and therefore taking away what makes a Trophy/Cup a better...
The aircon system is heavy thats why the track goers remove it, also as said above it makes cambelt changes easier.
The Fans still work. untill you rip the full heater matrix out :o )
And u need a new alternator as well as all the brackets.
Car : PH1 172
Coilovers fitted : AST (Race)
Previous setup : Prolines
Review :
Our ASTs are the ones of FMPs old clio, and have been revalvled and run higher spring rates. The car is very good on track, since we ve fitted the AST top mounts and figured out how we like the car set up.
The...
Thats a terrible reason to change the suspension on a trophy, Its a good reason on a normal 1*2.
If you are planning to use your car as a proper track car got for a Proper set of coilovers.
Trophy set up is better than nearly all coilovers for road use. We have a Set of ASTs from the Time...

LSD are brilliant, but would be expensive for Renault to fit one to the 200 straight out of the factory and you need to drive hard to see the full benefit of one.
The sad thing about this is its generally enthusiast/trackday goes that are on 888s and such. So the people using them generally have a better driving level than most on the road.
But i do agree i wouldn't run 888 on a road car everyday.
But what is annoying is for every car on the road that...

Just depends what rollers you go to, way to get the most accurate result is put your car on a engine Dyno.
The rollers are really only useful, if you have a day with a few clios on the same rollers to see what they produce against each other.
That one a a AAS (newcastle) System. Its a 3.5 inch tail pipe, inward rolled, slash cut.
Either find a "off the shelf" system from Ktec or similar or go to a proper custom builder.
