The comfortable leg position equals steering wheel too far away is possibly the most annoying problem I have with the 182, this looks like a really good solution.
Think these are the coolest small hatch on the market these days; if I was buying a small engined new car then I'd want one of these. Interior is decent.
About an hour after I posted this, I went to start it and it started perfectly, and has been fine again since. But thanks for the advice, I'm sure it'll pop up again soon and then I'll give the recommended solutions a go.
I'd assumed it was starter related, but from what I can see, there's no...
If I remember correctly, Jenic bought the last one stocked in the UK for his Inferno, they may have restocked though - just remember it from his project thread.
If I was fitting 4 brand new tyres at the cost of 4 quality premium tyres, I'd deffo be wanting all 4 to match. Won't they do all 4 Michelin's for the price of 4 Pzero's? The Michelin's cost more, so in some way you'd benefit - although whether they're worth more than Pzero's is personal...
Where did you get the paint from for the engine cover? Good to see what the cover painted LY looks like, I'm gonna get round to doing mine, but didn't fancy going for the whole cover LY, was leaning towards what Aucky did, having the box around the the Renault Sport bit of the plenum in LY but...
Right, this all stemmed from me looking for a good dock for my Galaxy S2; I had a gander at some threads around here and stumbled upon some people talking about the Belkin Tunebase, because it offered a good alternative to mounting a dock to the windscreen or over a vent. This product seems very...
Right, first time this has happened since I bought the LY. Drove it this morning all fine, went to move it earlier and it's not starting. Immobiliser light is going out, and all lights etc are fine so I'm assuming the battery is fine. When I go to start it, nothing happens, I just get a constant...
Surely this is the most relevant point? They don't really improve the look of the car, and in the event an accident happens as a result of your non-standard reverse lights, regardless of whether you say you can see them, the person who doesn't see them will have a legitimate reason to blame you...
Mine used to be more of a problem in the winter months, I assumed because of temperatures and moisture - I doubt it will completely fail on you, if money's tight it may be worth getting it done when summer is coming to an end, when you have a bit more cash saved, but then again, mechanical...
Well, a new starter, from a quick search around will cost you ~£150, although a lot more from Renault and then they quote 4 hours labour, although some have suggested you could probably do it in 2, but either way, so I'd say unless you've got contacts then expect it to cost £300 upwards
This used to happen on my 1.2, when it first happened I called out my breakdown service, waited an hour, all for the bloke to come and tap the motor, and voila.
I don't think they're cheap, and some might suggest living with it, unless you've got the money spare I guess - it kinda goes away...
I have this problem too, don't really want to change the unit. Mine that are damaged are the smaller round buttons, I've considered whether it's be possible to get some stickers made that match what the button should look like and then just place it over the top; I assumed this would be more...
The Eibach's you have on are probably better than the Gmax's you've bought, the drop may not be what you want on the Eibach's, but if you change for the Gmax's you may find you don't like the change in the handling - still, worth a go I guess if you don't mind the hassle.
12 month contracts are readily available, got my S2 on a 12 month, decided to keep it past my upgrade (nothing new offered much more for continuing to pay £30+ a month) so I got a SIM only and now pay £15 quid for stupidly high minutes, unlimited texts and 500mb of data.
One of my favourite...
By the time you pay out for Carbon thumb-grips you might as well get a re-trim, it will be a bit more, maybe double, but it cures the problem of the melting as well as the problem with the thumb-grips - plus if you get it done by Snappy it looks the dogs.
For purely car cleaning, almost any pressure washer is adequate - higher power may be required if you want to clean the slabs or your drive or whatever. The one you've posted looks good, if not slightly overpriced for what it is. £100 seems quite a lot for a pretty small/bottom of the range...
