if it aint been flatted n mopped n it aint been done in a booth i expect its gonna have a lot of s**t in it, orange peel etc. its gonna need flatting down with P1500 or P2000 then mopping (basically a machine polisher using a cutting compound such as G3) to bring back the colour n shine.

take off the masking tape while its still tacky. dont let it dry completely then demask it as you'll rip the laquer off. carefully pull it off while its tacky n it settles itself nicely upto the edge of the lettering then goes hard

any roof will be fine, but isit it really worth installin a new roof skin on a mk 1 clio due to a leaky sunroof? little extreme imo. at most ide locate a new sunroof and seal it in very very well, and seal all the inside too where the bolts are, round the edges. if that dont work, set it on fire

like the grille in the bumper off this. modify it to fit yours and itll look spot on. any mesh is gonna look shite i think unless its pretty much unseeable
no rubbing with 4 up. rubbed slightly on n/s/rear arch lip at the bottom, so i just hammered it round and it aint rubbed since. only thing that caught was the exhaust mid section on speed humps, so i had to take em with 2 wheels
ide probably look at a car with an original huge cut out in the bumper. like maybe evo/impreza etc, and modify the grille they use from factory. i think metal mesh will just look crap unless its been blacked, powedercoated or whatever,
