If you read what i put i stated exactly what you said, by no real gains i ment BHP wise, Some people think you will see the same sort of BHP gains on a N/A car as you will on a turbo, but you wont.
As for prices
www.rstuning.co.uk For live map price
The ECU can be mapped.
2 options Really.
1, a Live map from somewhere such as RStuning in Leeds, this the best possible map for you car but is more expensive.
2, a RStuner kit (Fastchip.nl) This is a box that you plug in to your car and map the Ecu be moving some Preset files on to it, very...
Hope every one is ok,
On the increased crashes note, i ve watched 4 crashes from my window in the last 4 nights.
I live just of Coventry ringroad (Jct 3), the cars come down the slip road, it bends left then merges with the other slip road, every crash has involved a car going down the slip...
Really depends on how serious youy are about doing trackdays, it is a expensive hobby.
Have you done any track days?
If you plan to do 2 or 3 over the summer just use the trophy, If you plan to do it seriously get a project car over the winter.
To many people seem to buy "track" cars spend a...

We also have a catch tank.
Smaller radiator...

There really is no cheap options on modding a RS.
We paid 1600quid for ITBs second hand this included the OMEX ECU, but we did all the rewiring and fitting ourselves.
Then when you add the price of the Live mapping you are talking 2K + straight away.
The cheapest way to to a ITB conversion is to find a second hand kit or rig one up yourself.
Finding all the parts you need second hand is tricky.
On standard internals the car will produce roughly 200BHP,
With decent Cams you can see 210-215BHP
After this it becomes stupidly expensive, with...
Looks better with Black Speedlines, trust me.
They had them parked next to each other at RWS and black speedlines looked superb, hence why i made my mate Pete drive the one with the white speedlines (referring to first pic)
On a leamington note, ive been many times normally park up behind argos. but yesterday drove through the whole town. God it sucks to drive through. Thats all.
