Re: Project Ph-OneSevenTwo - ***Bloody Long Update***
Are you sure, like really sure? Check again...
Thanks mate, they are coming off this week I think, you'd be more than welcome to buy them ;)
Blimey, thanks mate :)
Meh, thing is, all this does only seem to be happening after I played with the wires there.. I'll take a good look I guess, I think it may be alarm related tbh, as that's connected to the indicators..
Cheers mate.
Only thing I've played with is the 13 wires that go to the AC panel, I need to take that panel out and neaten them all right up. I'm going to crack on it tomorrow. Surely that can't do anything?? Right?
I'll try to unplug them and plug them back in next weekend at FCS... I'm sure the amount of...
Since when? That's what's always said but last year people rolled up at all sorts of silly times and still made it to the CS stand.
I'm leaving here about 9 mate, wanna drive up together?
Re: Project Ph-OneSevenTwo - ***Bloody Long Update***
Engine mods - 95% waste of money IMO...
TBH it'll probably be tracked to hell once I'm done with these bits, and I'll get a different daily.. maybe.
Re: Project Ph-OneSevenTwo - ***Bloody Long Update***
That's what I don't know. Should be fitting the f1's this week, then a ph2 bootlid (want to find a 182 one).
After that I am a little stumped....
I'd use the same logo, but no black background, slightly larger and less opacity, so it looks more like a subtle watermark not so full on.
(Just me though)
Re: Project Ph-OneSevenTwo - ***Bloody Long Update***
Cheers mate, I do love a silver ph1 :o
It's 90% done, switches are the complicated bit I'll admit but I'm quite sure I can write an idiot's guide on that now. Only thing I will struggle with is chopping and plastic welding the hazard switch...
I'm no longer making it to any kind of night before thing, (the best part of the show IMO)... I'm coming up anyway to pick up some parts from Tunst, so I'll be there to say hello etc. :)
Right then, time for a mega update:
A lot has gone on and at one point I'd lost a certain love for the car, but recently it's back with vengeance and I've been cracking on.
Since the last update the following has happened:
Firstly, I took on the task of creating my necessary wheel, this was a...
On Saturday my alarm (which has never worked), went off randomly, I couldn't stop it, and then randomly it stopped...
Since then, my two indicator "arrows" on the dash clocks won't go out. They're always a little bit alight, not fully illuminated, (as when you indicate, they still come on...
Seriously? Break the damn thing open. And yes, wheel nuts can be done too tight.
I personally don't torque mine, but I have a good idea of how tight they need to be.
Let me know when you've found these hubs/coilies.
I've been offered a big drive way at a more mutual location by another member, we can crack on there. :D
From someone that owns both bumpers, don't do it.
You'll only regret it and want to change back after a month or three.
(It's a pig of a photoshop to do too)
Sounds like an interesting night... the only problem being trying to keep a convoy that big together in London... it'd be different if everyone knew eachother, but it becomes a bit difficult when you don't even know someones name to tell them to wait.
Any pics?
