update: its all fixed and purring nicely now :) yay! In fairness they were quick to find and resolve the problem (free of charge of course). Was all due to a split piece of tubing!
the idle is not so much of a concern to be honest, but this isn't an idle :) the whole car physically shakes and cuts out every time i stop now, its currently in the garage.
tbh im 99.9% certain its a result of the work i've had done, just wondered what the most likely problem would be. Assuming its one of the following
Spark plugs
Coil pack
TDC sensor
Throttle body getting dirty
MAP sensor
Leads
Wiring on the ECU
which is most likely they would have affected...
Well. I've had the cambelt changed as well as a 72k service (the car is only on 65k but i thought i would get it done). Before the car went in it was running smoothly but needed the cam change as it the car is coming up to 5 years old and 72k anyway.
Since i've had it back.. (all new issues...
On Sainsbury's carpark outside the video store! Had cliosport stickers, my Cup was in the corner of the car park, you'd gone by the time i came out the Chinese, lol. Plate was B*** TSU
Ah, the old windows XP loop boot! Seen more than a few of these in my time, this is no single solution though :( the most effective however seems to be a faulty IDE or SATA cable, i'd suggest swapping this and seeing what happens, this fixed about 50% of the machines where this has happened...
Nooo :) no ebuyer! NEVER! They sent me a new laptop (which wasn't new) it has scratches and files from some random bloke on it! Took 3 months to actually get a refund.
www.novatech.co.uk and www.aria.co.uk are the two companies I use
Hi, just thought i'd make a comment as i have spent many an hour this past week looking for the same thing, if you don't want to travel to Yozza sport or Hill power (who are both excellent btw!). Here are my findings.
I'll be getting mine done at http://www.carcareservices.co.uk/
They are...

I recently got the Isys Pro E6320 Core 2 Duo GT
Cost £399 though + VAT (but i recouped that through dads business, hehe).

Both are excellent reliable systems with decent spec'd grahpics cards too, i've overclocked my card too and it flies!
You think thats bad? :) there is better to come! Yea the grill is going (hence the lack of picture, hehe) he also carried a spare alloy in the boot too, and i mean a full alloy wheel with all the trimmings! needless to say thats now in the garage, im pretty sure it weighed more than a standard...
Plans for the moment are restoring the lights, sorting the exhaust, looking at some 16" alloys, i think i just missed the group buy for the BMC induction kit but that will be getting done. Going to keep the engine pretty much standard for the time being though :)
Thanks for the constructive feedback :) its much more useful than "wheels are turd" lol. my faith is restored. :o 100% agree with everything you say in fairness. It's impossible for everyone to have the same taste. The lights will be going back on the weekend and i'll be popping to my exaust man...
Yes it was but it ended up as a private sale :) He has included the standard rear lights so i may well be putting them back on in the near future :) The exhaust is a little more tricky though. I paid 4575 which was taking into account i've basically got 12 months before an ABC service will be...
But it was worth it :)
Engine completely standard. Paintwork and interior immaculate with a FSH.
Twin stainless steel Magnex Exhaust
Tinted back and rear windows
Smoked rear lights and side repeaters
Wolfrace Alloys
Alpine Subwoofer
