The problem isn't so much the paintwork, it won't strip wax that much, maybe no more than a strong shampoo solution. It does however tarnish/stain rubber mouldings/seals etc

Even a 'bad job' is better than looking at primer so what have you got to loose!

Solid colours are easy to do and a near perfect match can be had. Metalic colours are not so easy to do as the metal particles tend to sink somewhat but the effect of the stone chip can be lessened considerably. Here are some solid pics and i'll post some mettalics later

Justin, soz I didn't ring you back been very busy!! When filling the chip it does need to stand proud but not overly proud as this will mean extra sanding back and more risk of removing the surrounding paint I use IPA to clean and a cocktail stick to paint the chip without overfilling it...

If you mean dark smoke then that is illegal on the fronts - any tint on the front is illegal

Apply with applicater Leave on car for 10 mins (5 in this warm weather) Wipe to a nice shine!

Don't get too concerned about the nuba % guys This is my car a few months ago wearing dodo green during the testing phase. It looked great but so would any wax over a well polished car ;) I gave it 8/10 iirc so not a bad wax.

Just a strong degreaser Megs super degreaser neat should do it with ease!

They won't be able to take out the swirls in 4-5 hours, nor for £20-£60 The permaguard has a filling effect on the paintwork. Be very dubious of anyone who charges £20 to remove swirls!!!

Got to be one of the best 50:50's in a long time Tim. Put that paint on a clio mind and it becomes rock hard ;)
