Smokey I personally wouldn't bother with the concourse towels.
I would stock up though above everything else on the blue perl buffing towels, they are on sale as well! The softest towels I've sued to remove polish although they aren't overly 'plush' so you may need some with a thicker pile...
Take the wheels off as it will be easier to work on, buy some megs clay from halfords and clay the wheels. Alternativly you could try 'soaking' them in a safer product such as megs wheel brightener. When I say soak I mean spray it on and leave it and then replesnish the spray every 5-10...
Ultimatly the best way is to 'get them clean' and then use a wax on them. This will then enable you to wash them weekly in car wash soap and water without having to use harsh chemicals on them every week. Paint sealants are better than natural waxes as the wheels can get hot which of course...
Yes mate I'm in Swin, if you want any advice feel free to pop over, if you want the car fully deswirled then I would need it for about 6 hours and would charge for this but its good VFM pm if if your interested!
^^Have you got a pc as you won't 'remove' them without a pc I'm afraid!
I can't remember if you contacted me before FCS, not too far away anyway just the otehr end of the fosse way!
It sounds like you didn't remove them in the first place perhaps only covered them up and after a few washes they were revealed again.
Don't beat yourself up about wash tecnique as however careful you are when washing you will always inflict some micromarring its inevitable although this...
I pose the question how many 'grown ups' drive cars with bits of plastic stuck to them?
Trust me mate you will grow out of it and you will feel silly in years to come.
P.S This is not patronising it is FACT!
^^Tuners improve their cars and can turn a fast car into a seriously rapid machine. Tuning has been around as long as cars have and is generally widely accepted/respected. After all if you bought an EVO who could resist tweaking up the turbo or if you bought a type r who could resist adding an...
TBH Neil is one of the few people who have spoke their mind so far and he wasn't far wide of the mark! Whether the driver is a chav or not is irrelevant, the impression that car gives is 'chav' period.
This whole site is getting overtaken by the young, body kitted text speak crew. There is...
Its 'value' largely depends on how you want to look after your car. If your the sort who may only wash their car once a month or once every two months, uses car washes and baulks at the thought of spending some time waxing/polishing your car then the product is 'better than nothing' and will...
In terms of durability collinite 476s is better than 845IW. However its like saying a 550bhp lambo is faster than a 500bhp lambo! What I'm saying is that both are extremly durable with 476s having the edge.
845 Insulater wax. Is more shiney than 476s and could be described as a better...
^^I'm sure you will lol! I have about 2 litres of AIO already and too many QD sprays, don't get me wrong its a cracking deal - sale of the century in fact - but if you don't need it you don't need it!
