Just been out driving about town, starting/stopping at traffic lights etc and my mpg is sitting at 36 :)

Oh and i usually sit between 27-33mpg in town then up into the 40s on a longer run :)

Your cars seem to sit a bit higher at the front than mine when they are all 40mm springs? What tyre profile are yous using? My sizes are 195/50/15

Standard dampers and 40mm apex springs! Ride is a bit crashy but for the 50 quid i paid then i really cant complain!

Maybe just the gasket then :s didnt you get a gasket with the bolts when yky bought them???

Hi all.. i dont know much about the laws regarding a sunstrip but from a quick search i found that if the wipers hit the strip then that makes it illegal? Anyway, my question was about the rain sensor, has anyone fitted a sunstrip over the rain sensor? Does it just stop working or what?

Is it a knockong banging noise or just a light rattle? Maybe worth checking your engine mounts! More than likely the cat to manifold joint though, one of the spring bolts is probably a bit lose?

Is that for 1 damper or a pair? :o

New screen is in, all new seals/trims etc fitted aswell. Even got the new trim on the top with the little spoiler thing :) And a free set of bosch wipers :)

Standard coilpack witb magnecor leads. Yeah they clip in but then they come lose again, so i keep clipping them back in :s

Hi all.. i was on my way to pick the mrs up last week and the car stared running on 3 cylinders, had a look under the bonnet and one of the leads had popped off the coil pack, i keep checking them before i go anywhere and it seems they keep coming a bit lose? Any advice for this other than...

Yeah that sounds like your altenator tbh. I had a problem with mine, would turn the key and every light on the car would flash etc :s

Im using a bit of expansion foam that i stole from my work. We use it for putting between concrete walls etc when we build them to let the walls expand. Its about an inch thick and its doing the trick very well tbh!

Bonus! Just had a call from autoglass, they have a windscreen in stock and will be out to do it tomorrow :)

Yeah it genuinely was a stonechip that has now began to crack. Like i said, i passed a car and it flung stones up and i got nailed twice and a rather large one on my bonnet that ive noticed aswell now! Thanks for the info guys :)

I was also worried about the windscreen being replaced with a normal clio screen but the lassy on the phone confirmed that they will be fitting a reflective/sun blocking screen and they know about the rain sensors 3 or 4 hours sounds reasonable enough. Suppose i could wash it before they come...

Imo it looks like the bottom part of the wheel in the first pic has been done for a while as the kurb marks look dirty. Anyways... get over it
