If you brake hard, I think it might squirrel a fair bit, wouldn't it? Especially in the wet. I'm pretty sure you could pick up an entire rear beam for £100 or less if you have a search around. If you don't know what you're doing, probably best to buy it and get your local garage to swap it over...

I can get about 45mpg in my clio on the motorway. Ironically I can get the same in the merc (E320 cdi).

35-45 is fine iirc. My winter wheels are 36 and my summer ones 45. No rubbing or anything. edit: that's on a mk2 (didn't read the title properly).

Aah cheers guys. Went for the Pzero's in the end, so should get them on by friday. I have PE2's on at the moment - I mean they're good tyres and all, but I couldn't find any replacements in 195/45/16

To cut a long story short I need some new tyres and can get a set of either of these pretty cheap. Has anyone had any experience with any of them? Which ones would you recommend? Will probably have 4 PE2's for sale after, 2x3mm and 2x4-5mm - any ideas how much someone would pay for them?
