FAO R-Jay cup, 182 blue and Chris 182 and anyone else interested!
I have already pmd the new owners a few weeks ago about an FAQ/glossary of terms but cant be arsed on my own. Kathy has said she will be happy to put it in the FAQ section:
I would suggest the following terms need describing...
The clean wheels is excellent as is the vinyl and rubber acre and imo a shampoo is a shampoo and the if it is used before polishing is largely irrelevant!
The resin polish is a mild cutting polish and needs to be top dressed, I dont like it personally but it is arespected polish on detailing...
Turtle wax contains trillicaone technology (read silicone) It is a cheap way to get a good shine on your car but body shops hate it cause once o its hard to get off and will repel paint etc.
For the sponge issue, what do you think will happen to the delicate clearcote on your car if you press...
Jordie what polish are you currently using?
I have ablack car and can bring it up brilliantly but the key is in preparation. Once you have washed the car you then need to actually clean the paint!!!

You are refering to the elise 111R with the 190hp toyota engine, of course that will kill a clio, its literally the same as the new exige ffs!
A std elise will hit the ton in 18-19 secs and will track the same time as a renaultsport, check your back copies of evo and you will see the 172 cup...
On re reading my original post, what I meant was the step from a 172 to a 172 cup was significant but the step from a 182 cup pack to a 182 cup simly involvced swapping the seats from alower spec car and incidnetaly losing 19kg (if were splitting hairs!). Maybe a tad simplistic but what else...
^^the 172 cup was designed by a team of renault engineers, the 182 cup was designed by the marketing department and an accountant. Lets face it any one of us could have said lets put cheaper seats in and call it a cup.
Thats not to say it aint a good car though!
