Looking great mate, though using #83 w/o #80 can create a matt finish, DC2 will impart a shine but only temporary as it doesnt cut.
I really notice a difference when I use #83 as it removes scartches but dulls the paintwork. However if you work it for long enough on say speed 6 the...
Fred, Its only a renault as is yours, Your well respected on here for what you can do to clios suspension/handling wise and your known to be a very good driver of clios (maybe others as well lol).
If people want to make their cars look nice does it really offend you this much? I cant recall...
I would imagine 3-4 applications of scratch x and you wont see it any more
BTW get a few coats of wax on your car and the bird lime would have taken longer to etch through. It must have been a really sloppy one lol!
PS a polish improves paint lustre but doesnt protect whereas a wax...

It will look good toypop assuming that you used your meguirs stuff last time, then its simply renewing any previous shine.
Dont forgot it wont protect the finish either so you will still need to wax it.
Guys
You must leave NXT on to cure for at least 20 minutes if not half an hour before removal, if not then dont bother applying it as it wont set up correctly. To ensure easier removal always apply an ultra thin coating of NXT, no need to ladle it on.
NXT has always been easy (too easy)...
^^It could be worth it, though there are reports of sealants from different manuafctures not bonding fully onto an oily substarte such as stage 2 of meguirs system, try it and see, you have little to lose!
UKasskew, a cover sounds a good idea in bird sh*t season. Your cat issue will easily besolved by a bottle of quick detailer and a plush m/f cloth, simply spray pn and clean off with the cloth, will take 1 min every day!
They have just bought out a paste wax version which Im hoping will be a little more durable

It is one of my favourite waxes. ALthough technically it is classed as a paint sealant as its polymer based rather than natural wax based. It contains a small amount of glaze whichreally deepens the paintwork and the finish is just so slick.
Durability isnt its strong point though but as...
Its got the orange side repeaters which should mean prior to 2003, so yeah probably a 52 plate.
Ive just sold my 03 cup with 9k for £8200 so that is a good deal
