Run it into the ground if you are a student. I (and many others) have been down the route of throwing far too much money at a car just for the hell of it. No point in getting yourself into MORE student debt just to have a slightly quicker car. Get a quicker car when you have a decent job etc.

FK1000P will last you months and months especially at this time of year, nice and cheap too. Meguairs #16 is also very cheap and lasts ages.

I'm sure that could be touched up and wet sanded/polished back up at a decent cost. I'd try that first anyway, worst case would be a spray which you think it needs anway. Not nice when it happens though.

Orange are the worst for it, Blackberry pulled the 9000 from them at the start as they f*cked it up so much.

I had issues with my Bold 9000 on vodafone and it was fixed by a 'vanilla' OS.

It will be the sh*te Orange put on them, try and do an OS update direct from the Blackberry site.
