Thanks, my pipe has neither of these 'breather pipes'... is this a problem?

Ok, think i understand that the airbox simply needs to be removed and the new piping fitted. I dont think ill fully understand how to do this till i get in the engine and start ripping it apart :) But still bit confused over where the filter/breather pipe needs to be fitted and where the ICV...

Ok, seems a bit complicated to me, especially as i cant imagine how to expose the throttle body (take the black box out). I changed the air filter myself before and that was simple, just cant imagine how the rest of the airbox is removed and where to put the breather etc.

Got any pictures of how the breather should look after? It would really help :)

Matt left it with nothing attached, apparently a lot of people do. will the oil breather affect performance in any way? I was hoping adding a closed induction kit would give slightly more performance (0.5hp at most) whilst still maintaining a nice sound

What about those 2 sensors just left of the throttle body? What is a breather filter and oil breather? I was told when i was sold the following that it would be all i needed to fit a induction kit (so long as the induction kit fits)

Can you explain with pics please? (maybe photoshop my original pic) as im dead confused...

I have this and getting this soon how do i fit them onto this Thanks :) EDIT - viper has caf as well, i know how to fit that, just dont understand which bits of the existing airbox/throttle body i need to remove!

Just to confirm, the following should fit my 1.6 16v yes? (assuming i have the correct bends etc) Also, got a few questions about the induction kit... how loud is it? is it constantly a deep sound or only at certain revs? Also, how would i go about securing the kit to my engine bay...

For a mk2ph1, use a peugot 206 aerial. TRUST ME. its not too short and its a perfect fit!

ok thanks, think ill be ordering the cheapy xenon look ones off ebay. doubt ill go for 100w though. I want them as im really anal about the fact that the cars headlamps are currently different colours!

Dads friend came round and packed it full of cv grease and Cv boot clip replaced.... hopefully all good now! no tears in the boot so touch wood should be fine :)

What do you mean take the risk with 100w? Im interested in the bulb colour over brightness as hardly use main beam and fog lights do naff all anyway.. more for looks!

I need foglights and main (full) beam. I want all my bulbs to be the same colour, it gets very foggy where Im currently living so i use foglights a lot and want them to be bright white like everything else

I just want to make my foglights look bright white, to match led sidelights or hid white etc... what should i use?

where is the "from headunit wires" ? do i feed the new wires through the doors etc or just use the existing wires? same with the tweeters?

Whats a motrio gaitor? where do i get one? Is this the black gaitor that might have a cut in it? My dads mechanic friend is coming over tomorrow to look at it. Need the car running asap as i need to get back to uni! not feeling a train 2nd weekend in a row! Hopefully it will just be jubilee...

Ok, after dong a search of the forums found some pics identical to mine. Seems to be the CV joint. What should i look for? - Jubilee clip snapped? - Broken gaitor? can someone please tell me more about this? do i need to top up the grease? will i need a new driveshaft?!!
