I use to mask off the entire wheel arch and just spray the b******s with halfords caliper spray paint. Think next time ill just use hammerite and a brush.. seems like less mess. Same with drums!

Ordered a r50w for the licence plate light after checking mine... and ordered a 39mm festoon bulb for my interior... this should fit shouldnt it?

Cheers. Could do, but im 6 months through a 12 month policy... bit of a shitter tbh. Easier to just put up with these tyres until febuary, then ill get a full years of no claims.

No point in really buying new tyres for 5 months when these have done about 500 miles in there lifetime... catch 22 ftl :(

Just swapped them over and went for a quick drive.... Cant believe this, the handling is truley awful... and this is on a clear, sunny day. Braking distance is approx twice as bad, the tyres lock up and skid so easily its untrue. Cornering is awful. No idea how im going to live with these for 6...

FFS. I dont understand why something that makes the car handle better / safer invalidates insurance. Piss take tbh. Should i be expecting a lot of understeer then?

Switching back to my steelies for insurance reasons (just found out my policy doesnt cover any mods whatsoever so until febuary...) gonna have to put up with going from 15" yokohoma paradas to 14" budget tyres on steel rims. Will i notice a huge difference? Im gnna miss the yoko's...
