But why wait until the sign to start slowing down?? Use some observation, plan ahead and show some road sense??
If someone is demonstrating poor observation and planning and gets caught in that situation, fair f**king game imo!
I do get what you're saying, but the counter argument would be that speed limits do apply downhill.
I'm not saying I'm in favour of how they operate. Personally, I stick to the limit (or slightly below) in any posted limit (ie bar the black line). If/when I get caught doing over 60/70 I'm not...
Maybe I'm a c**t (or definitely), but speeding, getting caught and then being upset about it seems a bit whiney to me.
Fair enough if it's a minor discretion at 3am on a deserted road, or if you're involved in a car chase with Jason Statham. But otherwise it's peoples own fault for going enough...
Bike I get, but van? I think a lot of folks that get caught spend a fair amount of time over the limit and rely on the fact that there aren't many traffic officers about, and fixed cameras are easily avoided.
Round here they've started using an officer on a bike with a portable setup...

Went to Berlin a few years ago, saw loads of them. I imagine we'll see more premium small cars once anything with normal emissions is banned from city centres.
Think we disagree at a fundamental level! Long trips involving large amounts of motorway work are exactly when I don't see the value of autos.
I think modern drivers have become a bit lazy, dare I say it, soft? Any modern manual is an absolute pussycat to use compared to fast stuff in the...
It's a na, mid engined sports car. A car you buy for pleasure first, commutting and practical concerns clearly take a back seat. If you're buying a fun car for interaction, why on earth would hobbling it with a slush box be better?
Changing gear with a decent manual is fun. It's fun at any...
Apple vs Google is bizarre. People treat it like football teams "yeah I have an iPhone because my dad did. Apple till I die" etc.
They're both brilliant platforms, which is why they've decimated all others.
Quality wise there's nothing in it with the decent handsets, perceived quality is...
I'm in Windsor, and I'm regularly in Andover if you fancy a go in it? Shark remap, they seem to be the most highly thought of. But I don't think you'd go wrong with revo, Apr etc.
