I have found a few threads on this but , I'm not sure how to wire the pin2 circuit as I'm running a omex ecu along with the standard one .
My thinking is that if i wire the constant feed for the omex to the kill switch when it is activated it will kill the ecu and the spark, so no need to tap...
Pulled the car into the garage yesterday and made a start on fitting the kill switch and lifeline kit.
What wire do I connect the kill switch into from the ignition ?
Also decided to move the omex ecu inside the car and moved the standard ecu towhee the power steering resivour was as I'm going...
I think the one that cracked in half was one of the original ones that were on the car when I bought it so genuine I think. The thing is it was never designed to take the force it did with the other clip not being shut properly, but the way it did split in half is scary.

I know but always liked the colour, nearly got my R8 wrapped in it a few years ago.
Well after a clean up this is the damage.
Luckily no damage here , and from the brief shot it did get it goes well with the new gearing.
Yip it is but s**t happens, just bad luck. Ordered new genuine aerocatches this morning and going to see if i can heat and shrink the dent on the roof.
I had always planned on getting the car wrapped in kawasaki green at some point so this may have just moved that forward if i need to fill dents.
Bonnet came up after one aero catch wasn't shut properly and the other one failed, damaged bonnet, smashed screen and dented roof. Need to check the roof tomorrow in the day light to see how bad it is.
Got a msg from Fraser.J. last night after he had gave it a quick test " your thing is rapid revs so quick" , so really looking forward to getting it back now. Will get one track day in to test out the difference the box has made, then pull it to bits to fit the AST rears and roll bar.
I also...
Thanks Fraser/Stu just got your msg when I landed in Amsterdam will give you a shout later to arrange picking it up. Then we can see if it will lay down two lines instead of one :-)
I knew the shifter seal was leaking but , dam that's a lot of oil on the inside of the housing lol
Glad the cars in good hands, can't wait to get it back on track with more grip and shorter gearing.
Need to get rid of all that messy power steering pipe work aswell, all the eps parts bought so...
Only one place i would use to raw alloy polishing a whel and thats Mike the polisher in Glasgow, but be warned they are a nightmare to keep clean if you use your car daily.
Mikes work
The other option is Fife powdercoating , and get then chrome powder coated , gives 90% of the look with easy...
I fitted the new wheel a couple of weeks ago and really happy with the look and feel , I might get a spare centre console painted to match the seat backs like in the pic below.
