Damn! My Integra story isn't my worse loss though. Someone working in the same yard as me had an RX-7 which I loved and I saw it parked up for a while. At the time I was driving a Honda CRX... spoke to the guy and he said the engine had blown, and asked if I fancied a swap! Said no, I mean why...
Cheaper sub incoming.
I remember being told the Beam is rubbish without the sub... but that in itself is rubbish. Enough bass for me. Now if I didn't have neighbours or kids then yes I'd probably get the sub as well, but for me it's overkill.
Finally done this b*****d.
Now on to the circuit experience. Gold on all the individual sections but as a complete track I'm almost 2 seconds out... finding it hard to make up the time anywhere!
I love my Beam, but agree it's pretty terrible at streaming. I have Nest speakers too and firstly it's very frustrating that they're not compatible.
I used to be able to tell Google to play Radio 1 and it'd work on the Beam. However Radio 1 Dance never worked, and Spotify has never worked...
Was only a little system, as I wanted small enough speakers that sat to the side of my old TV on the cabinet...
HTX-22HD-B | Standard Versions | null | Onkyo - Sound Acoustics
Replaced with a Sonos Beam.
Mind you the Onkyo amp/sub died a few months was replaced :( had to hook up to the old...
Used to have amp and speakers. Then I had kids... now TV on the wall, soundbar in the fireplace, not a cable in sight. Wouldn't say it sounded any worse to be honest, but looks so much better.
I think I was actually, but then lost it on a s**t corner and a few scrambled their places back! Just got to do that corner better I guess then should be good.
