If you buy from a reputable importer then everything like the SVA certificate / fog light etc will be sorted. You can also buy FM expanders for the radio which allows you to get a few more UK stations.
200bhpcars comes highly recommended from everyone that has ever dealt with them. Get...
You have to remember most DC2's are 8+ years old now though. So that'll be why. But mine is 6 years old and is fine.
To be honest I don't think you will regret choosing either car as both will be great to own!
Yes, they are the same seats as the DC2 and are some of the most comfortable seats I have sat in.
It depends on the car really and how it has been looked after. My car is a 51 plate and the bolster is not too bad at all! If you are looking at a facelift model and you look after it yourself I...
As people have said, it is more down to what you want from a car. I have never driven a V6 so can't comment there, but love every minute I spend driving the DC5. I have driven quite a few cars, but this is by far the best driving experience. As someone said I think a V6 is more like one of those...
My ex had a mini ipod and one of the dension ice link plus things for her clio. She has now changed her car to a new shape Tigra and has got an ipod nano. What is the best way to get the new ipod working in the Tigra?
Does she just need to replace the Renault specific part of the old Dension...
That is one of the nicest 182's I have seen! I would be very tempted to keep it myself and concentrate on saving for a house. But I also get itchy feet after a couple of years of owning a car.
As middo said you wouldn't go far wrong with a JDM CTR, or possibly a late DC2.
I got a 60k service, cam belt and MOT done for £204 :) Perks of knowing a man who can.
Think £555 is a little steep, but I know they are not exactly cheap from a stealer. Shop around.
If I remember correctly there are two black nuts at the back (in the boot) one on either side, and then another bigger pain in the arse nut in the middle.
Obviously, to go from a DC5 back to a Renault ;) . Although a 225 was close to top of the list of what car I was gona get after the Cup. I just couldn't be doing with having to put up with poor customer service from every dealer I visited.
Hopefully the meg won't have as many probelms as my...
Yeah seen that before. Very good. As above would love one in black with orange decals. Beast!
When I did a track day at Donnington there was a white one with red decals going around as well. Very nice. Got a bit of a video of it on my brothers mobile from my car as we were going round...
Can't be a good sign. You were just getting off junction 4 of the M42 and heading up the Stratford Rd this morning about 9am. To Renault Solihull possibly?!
What's the damage?
I am not sure what the last few letters were. But it started VU55.
It headed towards Worcs as it left, but I couldn't see the driver to see if I recognised them.
The furthest I would ever risk in the Cup was getting to work on the petrol light. Thats about 26 miles. I fill up by work as it is a lot cheaper. But you could prob get about 40 out of it before you ran the risk of running out. I'd still only end up putting 45 litres in after driving to work...
More than likely. Glad I am not going with her now. Ha!
Sky news has got a lot about the floods around here at the mo. It looks like the M5 is just starting to move again. But there are 15miles of traffic so obviously going to be a while before it clears.
It is a nightmare out there. The M5 is still closed.
I am meant to be taking my ex to the airport at about 11. Except the girl she is going with lives in Malvern and says she can't get this side of Worcs or even out of Malvern. Their mate who they are also meant to be going with is still on...
Suppose it depends on what you fill up with and price etc. Used to cost £45 to fill up and with nothing but motorway driving I averaged 330 to the tank.
Enjoy it.
Can't help with the speedo. But the exhaust itself is a weak point of the car. The back box is prone to rust, and the mount went on mine. Matt Black is a Renault breakers so try PM'ing him to see if he has one, but haven't seen him on here for a while. You might be able to find his...
Good question. Was 4 years ago now. Got a feeling it was under my dads name and the £900 mark comes in to mind. Sorry, not much help.
Despite what a lot of people say, they are very nice cars. Well built and handled very well. Was a nice car to drive, I just did too many miles in it. So had...
