Mines not a 172, but clio grande Y reg, one of the last made.
its done 80k, and the interior is absolutely perfect, the wheel has only the slightest of wear at the bottom, you wouldnt notice it unless you were looking for it, and the gearknob is like new.
I want to buy them for... this car

What would i need to buy and how hard is fitting them?
Ive heard that you can pick up ones for lagunas / meganes etc at a cheaper price?
I would be looking to buy them as cheap as possible from...
someone on another forum suggested this to me instead of colour coding what i already have.. also have devolped a crack in my bumper due to going over something nasty. What do you think will be cheaper and better option? Colour coding my existing bumpers, mirrors and skirts? or buying the sport...
I have a 2001 (Y) grande, if I wanted the sport style look, can i just buy the sports rear and front bumpers and replace my existing ones? how much do you think this would cost?
Thanks.
Was driving my clio for the first time to college yesterday... and the accelerator cable broke going up a hill!
Phoned my dad went to a local renault dealer picked up a new one about £18 and fitted it by the side of the road...
It was the last thing i expected to ever break down for haha.
Too late, bought a set of rear lights for the car for £20 off ebay, as the left one has a large crack in it, condensation does occur etc... i suppose i got a good deal though and would have had to pay a bit more for the newer model lights, maybe a possible future upgrade.
1600 cheapest i could find after about 1 week of contiunious phoning / browsing.
3rd party fire theft on my own... im 17 / male and my postcode is slightly expensive
Theres plenty more too, all you do is email the guy at the end of the auction with the model car you have and he supplies compatible blades. there called "flexy or flexi blades" on ebay though.
BUY THEM!
Well here it is in all its glory, i love it :)
1.2 8v Clio Grande 2001 Y Reg ... insurance nearly killed me though, bieng 17 and all.
Rear lights need replacing due to a crack in one, also needs a good clean/vacuum all around... and a full service. This should all be done in about a weeks...
The car has some decals / stickers on the rear windscreen i would like to remove, I didnt put them there, they were there when i bought it... what would be the best way of removing these? Ones exterior/ones interior. If i remove the interior one is there any risk of damaging the heat elements...
