Really liking this look. Might have to be on the cards once I've sorted out my handling. Might make a difference to my alloy choices though. Was going to go for anthracite as not over keen on black but wondering if they might be better black with carbon bonnet and a black/carbon roof. Hmmmmm. G

What sort of price did that cost? I want to improve the handling of my 172 and am in 2 minds also as to which way to go. The V-Maxx groupbuy seems tempting but I don't want a really crashy ride. G

full alloy in mine as well mate. When I buy new alloys will be swapping it out to save weight and replacing with a tin of that green shite that lets you limp to Kwikfit G

Seen they have one at £35 and another at £69 today. Anyone any experience with them? Any good or not worth wasting money on? Not sure what fittings are like for getting a snow foamer etc..... G

Ah. I had them fitted when I was down at AWT the other week but nothing was mentioned and no filing took place. When you say shims in the carrier can you expand on that. Would it be obvious to see when looking at them what needs removing? Here's a pic >...

Only had mine flashing when hitting greasy patches on roads round this way or pulling away from junctions sharpish. Never had it in a corner although mine seems to understeer more than anything I've ever driven to the point I've zero confidence in the thing through corners or on roundabouts. :(...

Shame they don't seem to do any in gunmetal type colours. I'm after a set of dark coloured alloys but don't fancy black. I've a carbon bonnet, dark rear lights and going to go with dark badges as well but think dark grey alloys will suit better than black. G

Well got it done today and turns out I already had an RS inlet which was surprising as was told by AWT that mine definitly wouldn't be as it was a 172 and not a cup or a 182. Guess some very late 172's came with them on as mine did. And I guess someone will now get my old RS inlets after a bit...
