i have a 1.2 phase 3 MK1 and i have recently gone up from 13s to 195/45/16, do i need to change anything on the car? and will the acceleration (what of it) be affected, plus the speedo will be out wont it?

mine and my dads cars bout have inmmobilisers and are 3 years apart, i dont wanna buy one from a scrappy only to find it aint gunna work

i would say it easier with a torsion bar than springs, doing the springs takes ages with manaul compressors

i tried putting my dads in mine, he has a m reg RT and i got an R reg 1.2, and it didnt work :s

My reciever (Bit by the sunroof handle) has blown because of a leak through the sunroof and therefore the central locking does not work. i was just wondering if anyone knows how much a new reciever is and does it have to be program to your key??? i was told by renault that you can use a reciever...

so do you think it will be easier to just raise my torsion bar?? the wheel is sitting under the arch by bout 5 - 10 mm on 16s, think i should raise it... hopefully pics up soon
