The issue with that is not the price, but the delivery time. Sainsbury's often deliver 2 days later. Maybe they've got their act together recently.

They can do it for around £700. That's basically tappets and cambelt. An aux belt on top of that would be another £130 or so, for peace of mind, but like I said it was only done a year or so ago. The engineer said I shouldn't need a camshaft kit and that's just Renault putting it on the quote...

KTEC said around £750 all in for tappet replacement. However, would that be without the camshaft kit? I don't even know if I need a camshaft kit. Meh.
