I just had a look actually as my renewal is up this coming Monday!
Third party: £485
Fully comp: £1,070
That's actually a much bigger difference than I would have thought
1) Boot up Windows 8
2) Click on the desktop tile
3) Now is basically Windows 7
Anyone that can't get used to Windows 8 within 8 seconds is either younger than 8 or older than 88.
I quite like the Lumia 930... it's just getting a bit leggy, and no new Windows Phone flagship until Windows 10 release now.
Meanwhile 😧 http://www.theverge.com/2014/11/26/7290935/sony-e-paper-smartwatch
News of Sony's plans to encourage internal innovation comes as the company says it...
It would be a shame as it's not covered on my insurance lol.
The light down the screen that I'm talking about is not strictly related to keratoconus, it just makes it worse. I think if you had it bad you'd be doing something about it lol, for instance this is how I see text unaided...
I've had 3 cars with auto-wipers and my latest Clio is the only one where they've actually worked properly. I'd find it hard to go back now I think... same with auto-lights.
Really, bugger, I was hoping it wouldn't come to that! Sounds an expensive way to go... and I'm only third party so no dodgy tings on the insurance!
Is there anything I can do to improve the one I have? I have a couple of weeks off coming up so have time to try polishing it up with a bit of G6...
Hi guys... I suffer from a disorder called keratoconus which can make light reflections at night an absolute nightmare. I'm not going to go into too much detail about that side of things, but I need help with something.
I've had my Clio coming up for 3 years now, and I was diagnosed with...
It's impossible to say. Their monitors are not on a regular cycle of course, and even Apple are telling you to buy a Sharp to go with their Mac Pro. If I was you, and I didn't want to become pissed at a new one coming out soon after, I'd buy the current TBD second hand off eBay... then sell it...
I have this camera; my first DSLR. Because it's my first I don't have anything to compare it to... but it certainly does the job for me. Can't go wrong with Canon or Nikon really if you think they might ever want to upgrade anything. There's a 'guide' mode on there that'll make it really easy to...
It's not just in Safari, happens in Messages too... it's strange, make the screen size bigger, and display less! Still the most annoying thing for me is if you're in landscape then go into another app and then return to your original app, it's now in portrait  meaning you have to manually...
All too big I'm afraid! Her current phone is is 4.5" and she says ideally she wants smaller than that this time around...
Z3 Compact looks like a good shout then. Reviews seem positive on The Verge etc. which is where I usually go.
I've never been an Android fan since the early days as they...
What new phone for my missus?
She had the iPhone 4 but fancied a change and went for a Lumia 920 last upgrade... now it's coming round again. She's not been very impressed with Windows Phone, and as there hasn't been a flagship since the Lumia 930 she's now looking to move away from the format...
